Doctor Lacquer Dopamine and Estrogen Swatches and Reviews

Hi Everybody!  Today I have two polishes from Doctor Lacquer to share with you.  Both are form her Hormonal Efficiency collection, which consists of six thermal polishes.

Dopamine is a gorgeous polish full of large holographic circle glitters, yellow hexes, and yellow micro glitters. This is purple both in storage and when you're cold.  When you're warm, it's blue. The glitter payoff was amazing on both polishes, I didn't have to fish for glitter at all!
The formula was great, and the dry time was fast.  My pictures show three easy coats with topcoat.

Estrogen is packed full of pink holographic circle glitters, smaller green circle glitters, green hexes, and green micro glitters.  This polish is pink when warm and purple when cold.  I've never seen a polish even remotely like this; same with Dopamine!  I'm completely floored!  Literally, I'm standing here staring at my fingers.  The formula and dry time were great, three thin coats.

These polishes definitely didn't disappoint!  The colors are flawless; all I can say is WOW!  Dopamine and Estrogen can be purchased on Doctor Lacquer's website, along with the rest of the Hormonal Efficiency collection.  Hurry, they won't last forever!
Have a great week!

Authority Cosmetics Swatches and Reviews

Hey everyone!  I've got yet another indie brand to share with you!  I know I've been swatching indies a lot recently, but that's cause they're awesome, right?  Authority Cosmetics is a vegan and 5-free brand.  Because I paint my nails so frequently, I've been trying to use more polishes that don't contain hazardous chemicals, so the fact that these are 5-free is amazing.  I love it.   And now for the pictures!

Khloe is a beautiful royal purple with a subtle shimmer that shifts from pink to blue.  It's kind of hard to stop looking at your nails when you have it on.  I was very impressed with the formula and coverage; it was opaque in two coats.  It also had great dry time.  The shine is amazing,  no topcoat!

Emerald Sky is quite possibly my favorite of the trio.  It's an absolutely gorgeous pearly
forest green that looks almost blue or purple in different lighting.  It's so unique, and marvelous, and stunning, and I could just go on and on about it.  Great formula.  It's perfect, that's all there is to it.

Look at that sparkle!  I'm drooling!

I Heart You is also amazing.  I think it may be one of my all time favorite glitter polishes.  There's lots of pink and silver glitter and light and dark pink hearts.  The hearts are to die for; so cute!  I really just can't wait to wear this for Valentine's Day.  Only four more months...  Like the other two, the formula and dry time were perfect.   The photos show two coats over white.

One other thing that caught my eye was the bottle.  I am soooo impressed with them!   Even down to the label on the bottom, there was just so much detail and thought that went into each one.  So professional!

Well, I think I can safely say that my first taste of Authority Cosmetics was fabulous!  Such great polishes.  I may have mentioned it but  I.  Am.  In.  Love.  Do yourself a favor and go buy a bottle or two!  As a launching special, they're offering free shipping and $5 off each bottle on their Etsy shop!!!  Don't let that deal slip away!  You can also go and like Authority Cosmetics' facebook page, or follow them on instagram at authoritycosmetics.
Have a great weekend!

Supernatural Lacquer Swatches and Review

So today I have two polishes from Supernatural Lacquer that I'm super excited to share with you.  They're Halloween polishes(which I love), and they are perfection.
First is Candy Corn, which totally lives up to it's name.  It's a mixture of orange hexes, yellow hexes, small white hexes, and iridescent glitters in a light orangey-yellow jelly base.

Candy Corn was very easy to apply, and the dry speed was nice and fast.  I used one coat over Sinful Colors Snow Me White.  On my ring finger I have a color blocked candy corn also with one coat.
Old Gregg is unlike anything I've ever seen before.  I mean, wow.  Just wow.  It's a mixture of green squares, blue holographic squares, small dark blue squares, different sized white hexes, red hexes, big green hexes, and small iridescent glitters.  At one point I saw a huge holographic blue hex glitter which unfortunately slipped away.  Everything is in a light green jelly base.

I love this so much!!!  Each time you dip the brush in is like digging for treasure.  You never know what gem you'll get next!  In the pictures I have one coat over Sally Hansen Blue It.  Speedy dry time and great formula.
I'm still kind of freaking out about how amazing these are.  Talk about perfect Halloween colors! Stefanie(owner of Supernatural Lacquer) is currently selling her entire Halloween collection on her Etsy shop.  You can also hear about updates and polish releases on her Instagram, supernatural_lacquer.  There are four other shades then the two I reviewed, and each bottle is $8.  Check them out for sure!
Have a great week!

Sweet Tea Polish Swatches and Reviews

Hey everyone!  Today I've got another indie brand to share with you.  Sweet Tea Polish is amazing, and I was sent a couple of them to review.

First I have Bayou Babe, a mixture of purple, black, and green hexes, black square glitters, and black micro glitters in a smoky grey jelly base.

In the pictures I have one coat over China Glaze Concrete Catwalk with topcoat.  The application was great, and it dried really fast.  I really just can't get over this polish.  It's such a stunner.  When I had it on, I couldn't stop looking at my fingers.  I know for a fact that I'll be wearing this a lot.

Next is the glitter from a duo called Tiger Claws.  I think that the colors are really unique; I don't have any polish quite like it.

Tiger Claws is a mixture of large white hexes, smaller white hexes, white squares, orange squares, different sized purple hexes, and silver micro glitters.  Like I said, super unique.   I on have two coats over Sinful Colors Courtney Orange with topcoat.  Like Bayou Babe, application was smooth and easy.

These polishes are so great!  I love them, and I can't wait to use them some more.  You can purchase Sweet Tea Polish on Darah's Etsy shop.  Each bottle is $9.  Definitely put checking it out on your to-do list!
Thanks for stopping by!

Color Club Electronica Swatch and Review

Hi!  Today's swatch is of Color Club Electronica from the Dance to the Musique collection.  This collection came out a looong time a go but I never got my hands on it.  Then a couple days ago, I was at Bed Bath and Beyond and saw it on clearance!  With a coupon, it turned out to be 75 cents!  What a deal!  Too bad I couldn't find the rest of the collection.

Electronica is the perfect purple.  It's dark, but it never looks black.  Packed inside are purple-y/pink shimmers, which add gorgeous depth to the polish.
This polish applies heavenly and dries super quick.  You only need one-two coats, depending on how thick.
I really like this polish, and now I'm regretting that I didn't pick up the whole collection when it came out.  Oh well, you win some you lose some.
Happy Tuesday!
