Backwoods Nails Purple Fire Swatch and Review

Hey everybody!  Aren't you glad it's finally the weekend?  I sure am.  I've got a great polish to share with you today,  from a new indie brand called Backwoods Nails.  I was sent Purple Fire to swatch and I love it.

Purple fire is a mix of holographic purple bar glitters, silver holographic hexes, silver holographic micro glitters and randomly cut black glitters in a clear base.  Shown in the pictures is one coat over Color Club Electronica.

I think that this is a super gorgeous, different and unique polish; I've never seen anything remotely like it.  And that's saying something, because I've seen A LOT of nail polish.  Like most glitter polishes, you need to dab the polish on to make sure the glittery goodness is spread evenly across the nail.  However, that's a small price to pay for the end result.  It's like a little party on your nails :)
The best thing about this polish is that it self-levels like a charm.   After a about a minute the base is completely flat.  Not to mention dry.  Of course, the glitter is still a little bumpy, but add a layer or two of topcoat and your good to go.

This polish is really special.  Really, the glitters are the definition of holographic.  I wish that it could be captured on camera, these pictures really don't do Purple Fire justice.  If you love this as much as I do, you can buy a bottle on Tiffany and Alauna's shop, Backwoods Nails. Each bottle of polish is $8.  Be sure to check it out!
Happy Saturday!
